At RCC, we are dedicated to supporting you, whether you are preparing for the workforce, transferring to a four-year university, or enhancing your skills for career advancement. Our outstanding faculty and staff are here to help you succeed.
We encourage you to visit the James Library and the Academic Resource Center early and often. These valuable resources will enhance your learning experience, so get to know the staff and utilize these facilities. Our RCC staff is also ready to assist you with questions about programs of study, financial aid, student life, career selection, or educational goals. We are committed to making your experience the best it can be, allowing you to focus on learning and growing in your chosen career program.
This publication combines the Catalog and Student Handbook into one useful resource. It includes college policies, program information, the academic calendar, and more. I encourage you to review this publication, especially if you are a new student, as it will help you meet your educational goals.
We will challenge you to reach your full potential while at RCC, and while this may sometimes be frustrating, remember that challenges are a natural part of the learning process. Persevere, and you will find understanding is often closer than it seems. We also expect you to hold us to high standards in providing instruction and support. Together, we will ensure you achieve your educational and career goals.
