Policies and Procedures

Rockingham Community College maintains a set of academic and behavioral policies designed to support a fair, safe, and engaging learning environment. Students are expected to uphold academic integrity, follow course requirements outlined in each syllabus, and engage honestly in all academic work.

RCC also outlines essential rights and responsibilities for all students, emphasizing respect for others, compliance with college policies, and commitment to personal and academic growth. Students have the right to quality instruction, appropriate support services, a safe campus environment, and fair treatment, while also carrying the responsibility to know and follow institutional guidelines.

Additional policies, such as technology and email use, privacy expectations, and standards for appropriate conduct help protect students and ensure secure, reliable communication across campus systems. These guidelines set clear expectations for responsible use and outline consequences for misuse.
